T-ara’s Hyomin Makes History With New Acting Role!!

Major Congrats to the oh so pretty Park Hyomin of popular girl group T-ara!! She was just cast in the lead role of the upcoming film “Jinx”, to be directed by Japanese director Naoto Kumazawa. She will play a Korean exchange student named “Jiho” and act alongside Japanese acting vets, Kurumi Shimizu and Kento Yamasaki. The movie will be released this fall, with filming starting this month!! Hyomin is also making history with this role. Here’s what she had to say:

It is the first time that a South Korean female singer has been cast as a lead role in a Japanese film. That is why I am very nervous but I want to receive a favorable evaluation regarding my acting. I am very happy that I will be able to work with Naoto Kumazwa. I really liked his film ‘Hoping to Reach You.’”

GO GIRL!! I’m very happy for her!! But this better not f*ck with T-ara’s next comeback! I miss seeing my T-ARA QUEENZ!!   – CS
